This gem is fun! It's very "your aunt's Early American late 70's basement". Think wood paneling, a tube tv, eagle lamps, etc. There's even a cute disco. I was so overcome with nostalgia that I ordered a Pina Colada! The food is fast and tasty. Clean bathrooms. Decent accessibility.
The drinks, the vibe, the eats — all amazing. But Kelly is what truly keeps us coming back! She’s so warm and welcoming, and makes every visit feel special. Don’t miss going when she’s behind the bar ☺️
Cute, trendy spot for food and drinks. I ordered the Brussel Sprouts which were awesome. The bartender Joseph was friendly and made my day. I also noticed a variety of vegan options. Check it out if in Baltimore.
Went for my birthday! Great food and drinks. Never disappoints. Kudos to our bartender who took care of us right when they got slammed post-monument lighting!
We stopped in for a comedy show. Had dinner and drinks. The first drink was strong. Then I was made a lemon drop ....... nice. We order fish and chips. We shared it was so much food. I had my own fries they were good.
Absolutely Looooove this place! They are suitable for a quick bite or dinner. They even have music on Fridays and Saturdays if you like to dance. It gets pretty crowded so I would suggest arriving before 9pm.
Cheeky dive bar pub lounge dance food joint just around the corner from The Charles Theatre, oooooooozing w Balto vibes and local hangout. Place opened at noon on Sunday, and 5 min in place was practically full! We were short on time so were only there to have their Bloody Mary. It does NOT disappoint. Baltimore always manages to make the best Bloody Mary’s for some reason. Next time we’re hanging out, eating food and getting sauced!
The food here is absolutely amazing and they have the best DJs on the weekend. Kelly is one of the best bartenders there and I love her so much and enjoy seeing her whenever I go there. You’ll always have a great time at the royal blue if you decide to come there for dancing, drinks or just hanging with friends. I’ve met so many friends by just going there on the weekends.
The pretzel bites were delicious and so was the Shrimp Salad wrap. The tater tots were cooked to perfection. My friends loved both the chicken and waffles AND the vegan version. The cocktails were delicious and they had several mocktails on the menu too.
Cute and quirky spot on Maryland Ave. Outdoor and indoor seating. The inside was clean and fun. Our bartender was amazing. Quick service and delicious food. My salad was so big that I had to take it to go. Drinks were delicious!!
